Incorporated in 1982, Tonimas Nigeria Limited has proven itself a leader in the marketing and the distribution of refined petroleum products through out the country. We are also involved in the manufacturing and marketing of high quality lubricants.
Our Business Group also includes an Aluminium Roofing sheet & Nails production plant (Tonimas Aluminium), Tonimas Drinking Water, a Haulage & Shipping Line and the prestigious White Castle Hotels.
Tonimas Nigeria Ltd has undertaken extensive research in different areas, which have paid off through the creation of dynamic product lines in Nigeria.
Our products are now household names, bearing in mind the consistent pursuits of high quality standards which we have continually applied in all our product lines and brands, in order to offer the best quality to our customers.
With our vast operation and numerous branches, we strive to discover new ways to provide quality products at affordable prices for the continuous benefit of our customers.
Tonimas Nigeria Ltd is headquartered in Aba, Abia State in the South-Eastern region of Nigeria. In this complex, over a hundred staff of multi-ethnic origins oversee the operations of the various business lines and their staff located in our numerous branches all over the country.
Branch Network
Over the years, the Tonimas Group has spread its tentacles to every part of the country, it also has business partners all over the world. From Europe through the Middle East to the Far East.
Our sales and service outlets and our distribution network is a vast and well connected mesh spanning the length and breadth of the country.
Corporate Responsibility & Community Relations
Tonimas Nigeria Ltd knows the importance of conducting business in a responsible manner. The company demonstrates this responsibility through financial support for projects that benefits her host communities.
Tonimas has constructed and renovated several roads in all the host communities of her companies.
We have successfully constructed a state-of-the art church (St. Agatha Catholic Church) at Umuarakpa Community of Osisioma Ngwa L.G.A.
The company also constructed a state-of-the art Police Barracks at Umunri Village. We have also commissioned many electricity projects in our host communities, whilst being continually involved in other developmental projects.
Most importantly, our level of commitment to our host communities is also evident in our Human Resource policy of employing indigenes of these communities, thereby improving the standard of living in these communities.

Health & Safety
Our commitment to the health and safety of our employees and people working on our sites or under our management is a keystone of our sustainability goals. In addition, achieving high levels of pro-active health and safety standards contributes to customer satisfaction, business results and employee motivation.
Anywhere Tonimas Nigeria Ltd operates, this policy seeks to:
- Prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Improve the working conditions and well-being at work.
All managers are responsible for ensuring that Tonimas’ health and safety policy is communicated, understood, implemented and maintained throughout the Group.
Our health policy includes but is not limited to: –
- To ensure the provision of adequate medical attention in the event of failing health during and after the course of our staff’s work and provision adequate standby first aid services in the event of any unwanted accidents.
- Carry-out medical examinations on a regular basis as required by law, and ensure strict confidentially of such medical information
- We identify all health hazards within the place of work and thereby educate our staff properly and adequately to ensure health safety.
- Conduct due diligence where we envisage any occupational health hazard, with a view of reducing occurrences of ill health among staff.
Safety
- Safety training are provided to employee on a regular basis in First aid, fire prevention, accident prevention, etc.
- We ensure that all our equipment pass periodical certification tests, before they are put to use.
- We ensure that our staff obey all guidelines pertaining to safety clothing and footwear. In addition to this, consumption of alcoholic beverages and tobacco during work hours and on our premises is strictly prohibited.
- Working emergency switches and fire alarms are placed in strategic and easily accessible locations in and around our manufacturing complexes nationwide.
